Delicate white chrysanthemum flowers from Huangshan, Anhui province, China.

Harvested in Spring 2020. Chrysanthemum (juhua cha) was first cultivated in China in the 15th century BC. It is now cultivated around the world.

Elemental Wisdom : Metal Element. Chrysanthemum flowers are containing a lot of important vitamins and minerals benefitting the immune system, respiratory system and nervous system. It is Yin in essence, calming, and ideally served at any time of the day.

Brewing guide :
Teapot or Gaiwan : at a temperature of around 95 C.
All you need is between 5-10 flower.
Start by rising the flowers by pouring water on top and quickly discarding the water.
Then add water on top of the flowers, making sure to cover them, and allowing them to infuse 30 seconds in using a gaiwan, or 2-3 minutes if using a teapot, before serving into a cup.
