.: Unfolding Gracefully :.
Tea is an ancient medicinal beverage consisting of water poured over the leaves & buds of a sacred plant native of Asia, a spirit teacher that has inspired the Taoists and Sages for health, longevity and meditation.
Essentially, the significant process of setting a space with beautiful meaningful essential items to prepare, serve and sit for tea is an empowering daily ritual that has been proven to be highly beneficial for treating stress, anxiety, to ground and to bring the self back into balance and inner peace. To be fully engaged in precious details, in the present moment, encourage a clearer mind and immerse the self into the wisdom circulating within and around us. It makes us more sensitive to what is, in reverence and gratitude.
Usually, during the ritual, Pu'er tea will be served, a type of tea that offers a myriad of health benefits and known as a "medicinal tea" in China. It is considered to be opening the meridians, warming the liver and clearing stagnant energy, which helps to release what no longer serve us and let go. Pu'er is a fermented tea, which breaks down the caffeine levels and turns it into a gentle peaceful medicine, increasing healthy bacteria flora in the belly. It also contains natural GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), the inhibitory neurotransmitter of the central nervous system, responsible for reducing stress, anxiety, increasing melatonin production, uplifting the mood and improving sleep. The least we can say it that tea meditation is highly beneficial, on many levels.
Tea Meditation can be from 30 to 60 minutes, carried out in silence, in the form of a guided meditation.
Since 2015, Jade had the chance to share the precious blessing of tea and offer tea ceremonies & tea meditations in Switzerland, France, Holland, Italy, Canada, USA, French Polynesia, Hawaii and Mexico.
The medicine of tea can be shared in different environment and for different occasions. Either outdoor or indoor. In private or with a group.
