Ajna Da Hong Pao is a heavily oxidized dark oolong tea from the famous Wuyi Mountains of Fujian, China. It is part of the well prized category of "Wuyi rock tea", growing on the cliff of the mountains, in a rocky mineral-rich soil. According to a legend, the mother of a Ming Dynasty emperor was cured of an illness by this tea. "Da Hong Pao" is the most ancient of all teas produced in the region of Wuyi Mountains. Six of the original bushes, dating back from the Song dynasty, still survive today and are highly venerated. This tea is incredibly vibrant, generously packed of high mountains energy.

Teaware: Yixing pot, Zhong, Gaiwan or Western Style Teapot
Teapot: 250 ml water · 90°C water · 1 tsp tea · 4 minutes infusion
Gong Fu: 100 ml water · 95°C water · 2-3 tsp tea
Multiple Infusions: (1) 25 sec · (2) 15 sec · (3) 30 sec + 15 sec every additional infusions.
