Muladhara is a ripe Pu’er tea harvested in 2006 in the region of Menghai, province of Yunnan, China. This tea comes from a lovely family that has been growing/cultivating tea for many generations. It has been aged in Kunming, China, because of the ideal condition of the climate.

Pu'er is a type of tea that offers a myriad of health benefits. It is known as a "medicinal tea" in China. It opens the meridians, warm the liver and clear stagnant energy, eliminate toxins from the blood and creates balance within all organs and systems of the body. 

Because of its post-fermentation process, it breaks down the caffeine levels in the leaves and raises the level of polyphenols (flavonoids, catechins and theaflavin). These powerful chemicals are known to be powerfully antioxydant, acting like a sponge to clear the body of heavy metal toxins, reducing stress and repairing cells. The micro-organisms present in pu-erh tea increase healthy bacteria flora in the stomach and intestines, helping in proper digestion of foods. The gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) contained in pu-erh tea has been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, increase the production of natural melatonin, stabilize the mood and improve sleep.

Steeping guide:
Teaware: Yixing pot, Zhong, Gaiwan or Tea pot
Tea pot: 250 ml water · 95 °C · 1 tsp tea · 3 min infusion 
Gong Fu: 100 ml water · 95 °C · 2 tsp tea 
Multiple Infusions: (1) Rinse/discard · (2) 20 sec · (3) 15 sec · (4) 30 sec 
+ 10 sec every additional infusions.
