Beautiful side handle teapot made by our dear friend ceramist. We love the rustic raw energy of it. The outside glaze is wood ash glaze and it has a special story. Most of the wood comes from some small forest belonging to her family in France. Most of the wood is then cut by her grandfather or brother, and was used to warm their homes during winter. It is important to notice that the glaze may slightly change between each teapot because of the ashes that are unique to the tree being used each time. Depending on the tree and the age of the tree, the color or texture of the glaze can be slightly different. The content of this teapot is about 400ml.
