Praised as the Herb of Immortality in China, Jiaogulan or Gynostemma is a precious wild vine believed to carry a myriad of health benefits. It has been used in high mountains villages of south central China for hundreds of years as a general health tonic and rejuvenating elixir. It is a non caffeinated herb.

Jia o gulag is also a powerful adaptogenic herb. Adaptogens are precious plants increasing the body’s ability to counter and resist physical, chemical, biological, emotional, and environmental stressors. It decreases the organism’s risk of contracting an illness by allowing it to « adapt » to an stress it is being exposed to. Start by rinsing the leaves really quick, and brew in infusion for 7-8 minutes
