Premium Ceremonial Grade-A Organic Matcha from the island of Kyushu, in the south of Japan. Picked during the first harvest of the year, this matcha is a beautiful blend of yabukita and yutaka midori cultivars. Perfectly balanced, offering strong umami, fresh fragrance and gentle astringency, typical of the tradition.

Brewing guide:

Sift 1-2 chashaku (matcha spoons) of matcha through a sieve for a creamier mousse and to prevent lumps. Warm your chawan (bowl) with hot water, empty and wipe it dry. Add your sifted matcha into the bowl. Add 70ml of water (75°C) onto the tea. Whisk with energy with a chasen (bamboo whisk). Start beneath the surface. As a mousse starts to form, gradually raise your whisking towards the central surface. Every steps should be done mindfully, like a dance. Allow yourself time to sit still and simply breath before sipping your matcha. Its beautiful to be present. Enjoy.
