Sencha is the most popular tea in Japan, representing about 80 percent of the tea production. Because of the high depend of this tea, and because Japanese consummation represent 95% of all the production, most sencha are now produce in Indonesia, Korea and China. We feel incredibly blessed to have access to 100% organic sencha produce in Japan, and even more blessed that the tea farmer producing it is an incredibly inspiring and wonderful human that we had the chance to visit.

For more than 35 years, a family have invested their time and energy in growing 100% clean vibrant alive organic green tea. Not only it is organic, but it is also completely chemical and pesticide-free. The soil covering the tea gardens of Irie san is incredibly rich, pure, packed of nutrients, minerals and vitamins. The tea trees in this garden are beyond healthy and thriving.
