Bai Mudan (White Peony), harvested in early spring (late march) 2021, from a beautiful tea farm located near the peak of
Jiu Feng Shan, in Fuding area, Fujian, China.
White tea follows the most simple form of transformation. No process of "firing" is done, which allow the leaves to naturally and slowly oxidize with time.
Naturally containing high quantity of L-Theanine, an amino acid important in the formation of a neurotransmitter called GABA, which affects the release of dopamine and serotonin, promoting alpha brain wave activity, concentration, relaxation, mental alertness and calm. Preciously helpful for anxiety/stress and to uplift the mood.
This type of tea is also known for containing a higher amount of medicinal components, anti-oxidants, minerals, and polyphenols.
Process Hand harvested. Dried under the moon in a cool environment.
Tasting experience The liquor offers a sumptuous combination of sweet and tangy flavors, fragrances of cinnamon and honey, smooth velvety texture, vanilla accents and woody spicy character. Delicious served both cold and warm.
Elemental Wisdom Yin Water
Brewing guide:
- Teapot: 250 ml water · 80°C water · 3-5g tea · 2 minutes infusion.
- Gong Fu Cha: 100 ml water · 85°C water · 3 tsp tea · Multiples Infusions; (1st) 25 sec, (2nd) 20 sec, (3rd) 35 sec, and +15 sec every additional infusions.
- If served cold, brew first respecting water temperature and time depending on the technique use. Then, pour in a thermos with ice, shake, let it cool down and serve or store in the fridge for a few hours.
