Kai Yin Zhen is a precious silver needles white tea, made from the finest hand harvested beautiful plump buds of a tea garden of Yunnan, China. Processed similarly than young pu'er, with care and attention.  

Earth Karma : 100% Organic. Clean and Free from pesticides. Soulful farming. From the same family producing all of our Pu'er.

Tasting Experience : Offering gentle lemon blossom scent when dry. When water meets the buds and they brew together, lively and silky liquor fills the palate with delicate sweet smooth flavors, fruity and vegetal fragrances with gentle malty and woody undertones. 

Medicine : Water Element tea. The medicine of water is gentle, gracious, yielding, soft. "Kai" was chosen in honor of the fight for the survival of the orcas whales, currently risking extinction. In Polynesian culture, "Kai" is for "Sea". In Chinese culture, "Kai" is for "Victory". This tea is a gentle nectar of hope and prayers for the Sea and the great Ocean.

Energy Flow (Qi) : Awaken in the 2nd chakra, nourish the water, and gently flow into the solar plexus and heart.

Steeping guide :

  • Tea pot: 250 ml water · 75 °C · 2 tsp tea · 5 minutes
  • Gong Fu: 100 ml water · 75 °C · 3 tsp tea 
  • Multiple infusions; (1st) 35 sec, (2nd) 25 sec, (3rd) 45 sec + 10 sec every additional infusions.
